What do you want more time for?
Spending time in my garden is one of my favorite ways to de-stress and live in the moment.
STRESS!
We've been experiencing way too much of it since 2020.
Teachers are stressed out. Moms are stressed out. Healthcare providers are stressed out. My teenagers are transforming into the magnificent young adults they desire to be — and stressing me out in the process.
I look around me, and I see my fellow healthcare business owners doing their best to hold it all together — to just.not.lose.it.
How should we manage all this stress?
My answer is always the same — prioritize selfcare.
Make time to care yourself.
Make time for what's really important.
Let the rest go.
What do you want more time for?
When you’re clear on what you want, it’s a hell of a lot easier for your brain to see the solutions.
Me? I want more time in my garden. More time to sit and watch the plants grow. More time for quiet hikes alone in the forest. More time for sunsets and deep breaths.
I want more time spent stressing less.
I want to be present, in the moment, and not worried about the future or rehashing the past. How often to do you find yourself stuck in thinking about the past or the future? It's a futile waste of time. Choose to be joyfully present, committed to the life you want.
I want more time with my kiddos.
Adolescence is here, and I am aware of time slipping away. As teens becoming young adults, my kids want my company less and less. And when they do want my company, it's usually just to drive them somewhere or to buy them something. If that's what quality time with my teens is, then ok. I'll take it. And even though I can't stand traffic or shopping...I'll find a way to enjoy this precious time with my kids.
I want more time with my love.
Long walks, delicious meals and romantic sunsets will do. More time connecting, talking and dreaming about what our future with adult children might look like.
De-stress and gain clarity.
Our bodies are holding a lot of tension these days.
Here's a way to let that stress go.
I encourage you to make time to listen to the Belly Breathing Guided Meditation I created. Just click the button below, and breathe.
Do the guided meditation. I made it just for you...for those high-stress days.
Complete your current stress cycle, then pick up your journal and ask yourself: What do I want more time for?
You are my people, and I'm always listening and supporting your bodies thru processing the stress you feel. Please, make time selfcare and the things that really matter to YOU.
xoxo,
